Food, Booze, and Money! Your Activity Schedule is here!
I know we're all counting down the days to the 2nd Bingo Bonanza of the 2025 season. I checked in with our Organizer and Host, Bob Modena. He was tight lipped about the details but the spark in his eye tells me this Bingo Bonanza will be one for the books!
This week you will be arriving to a Friday evening Family Kickball Game. Meet at the Baseball Field to join in some family friendly competition.
Saturday is tipping the scales with 3 rounds of BINGO, Horseshoes, and a special mid-day craft.
I know we'll all need Sunday to unwind and digest the excitement (and some delicious food baskets for a few lucky winners) of the previous day. Wind down and replenish at the camp store with this weeks citrus infused water. Come refill your water bottle for free or grab a cup for a quarter donation to the fruit fund.
Per the usual - the activity schedule will be posted on the communication board outside of the store or in the store if you'd like your own copy.
A few public service announcements before we push through the rest of the week -
We're midway through the season and it's clear that it's that time again. Time to reiterate and reinforce some of the rules and in some cases, some of the laws.
You are required to clean up after your pets when out on the campground. If you are in a pinch you can obtain a doodie bag (yes I said doodie) from the office.
It is Massachusetts state law that all children 16 and under are required to wear a DOT approved helmet when riding their bicycle. With so few places left for kids to be just kids it's important that we protect the things that give them joy by protecting them. Please make sure your child is wearing their helmet every time they are on their bike. When visiting the pool, playground, or Lodge bikes should be stored in the bike racks and not dumped in walkways or blocking entrances and exits. Please note that children should be supervised by an adult if they are riding their bikes outside of the campground. We've seen too many near misses with cars on Grant Street.
We have a spectacular maintenance team this year with our legacy workers keeping things running smoothly and our new maintenance workers settling right in. They handle a myriad of maintenance issues throughout the campground and from their work it's clear that they truly care about the campground environment and atmosphere. With that being said we want you to take as much pride in our little slice of heaven as they do. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. Please do not litter. Please do not leave your dog doodie bags laying around on a park bench.
In closing, If you would like more information on the campground rules they can be reviewed on our website or you can pick up a copy in the office. We take the enforcement of our rules very seriously and in some cases as few as two violations can be grounds for termination. Let's work together to keep the park safe and clean for everyone.
Regards,
Melissa Camilini
