From Dominos to Doodie Duty: Your Weekly Update

Good Evening Friends. 

Your activity list has arrived. While I didn't receive any feedback I'm going to hold a game of Mexican Train Dominos in the lodge and see what happens. I'm not really a game person but this is one that I rather enjoy. The Lodge is a great place to gather and holds a comforting feel. Conversation comes a little easier. Smiles and Laughter make appearances more often. Who couldn't use a little more of both? I know I could.

This week I am going to try something a little different. I'm going to release an solid overview of next week's activities as well as highlights of significant upcoming activities. 

Some of the things I'm planning may take more time and effort to prepare and I want to make sure we are giving everyone enough notice.

There may be something about a cardboard boat race.....Color Wars.....Whipped Cream....Something, something....

I'm not sure. 

One item of note this week. I am a member of the Everything Plainfield FaceBook page. There was recently a post about a notice from Carson Cans (?). People have been putting dog doodie (Yes! I said Doodie!) bags in the porta-john there. One resident commented that "Peppermint Park people also walk their dogs there.' Not really the thing we want to be associated with but it bares mention because we have recently found these....gifts....in our own porta-john here on the campground. They clog the pumps when cleaning for us just like the complaints I am seeing on the FaceBook page. 

SOOOOO......Thank you for picking up after your furry friend but please dispose of waste appropriately. In the dumpster and in the dumpster only.

Unless you're going to take it home with you. Lol.
